WHEREAS, The Borough Council of the Borough of Carteret (The "Borough")
established curfews for minors within the Borough; and
~, Section Five (5) of the Ordinance established fines and penalties
for violations of the Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, a certain portion of the penalty section was inadvertently misstated
NOW, T~RE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Borough Council of the Borough of
Carteret that Section 5C of the Ordinance is hereby deleted in its entirety
and replaced with the following:
"5CThe following Penalties may be i~posed:
First Offense Written Warning
Second Offense Fine up to $200.00
Third Offense Fine of not less than $100.00 nor
greater than $500.00
Fourth Offense Fine of not less than $100.00 nor
greater than $1000.00.
BE IT FUR~HERORDA~ that this Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days
following approval of the Mayor and Council prouided it is published in
accordance with the law.
