Mark S.Sideris, Excess Expenditures for Snow and Ice Removal.

Stephen P.Corbett, Whereas: The recent snow storm has caused a depletion of accounts for snow and ice
Vice President removal creating an emergency situation with respect to the Town's ability to finance the
Aaron Dushku, expected removal of snow and ice for the remainder of the fiscal year; and

Susan G. Falkoff, Whereas: The current appropriation for snow and ice removal equals or exceeds the
Councilor At Large appropriation for the said purposes in the preceding fiscal year;and

Councilor At Large Whereas: The Town Manager has approved the incurring of liability and making of
Angeline B.Kounells, expenditures in excess of available appropriations for the current fiscal year and has requested
District A Councilor that the Town Council approve the same.

District Councilor Now therefore be it resolved: That pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 44 Section 311)of
the Massachusetts General Laws,the City known as the Town of Watertown may incur
Vincent J.Piccirilli,Jr., liability and make expenditures in excess of available appropriations for snow and ice removal
District C Councilor for the remainder of the fiscal year.

District D Councilor Be it further resolved: That a certified copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Town
Auditor who shalt certify expenditures made under the authority of this resolution to the Board
of Assessors for the inclusion in the next amoral tax rate.
