A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO APPROPRIATE AND
TRANSFER $22,880 OF UNAPPROPRIATED GAS TAX FUNDS TO ACCOUNT
NUMBER 1011.45.405
WHEREAS, a review of the Long Beach Boulevard Improvement Project found
$22,880 of non - participating project costs, and
WHEREAS, in order to continue to be eligible to receive Federal Highway funds
(STPL) the City needs to reimburse Caltrans for non - participating project costs, and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the Gas Tax Fund established pursuant to
Section 13 -1 1 of the Lynwood Municipal code and Article 5 of Chapter 1 of Division 1 of
the California Streets and Highways code
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood authorizes City
Manager or designee to appropriate and transfer from the unappropriated Gas Tax fund
2101 to Engineering Account No 1011 45 405 in the amount of $22,880
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution
Section 3. That this Resolution becomes effective immediately
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 16 day of August, 2011.
