RESOLUTION NO. 2011 191
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING
THE ANNEX BUILDING DEMOLITION PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 4011.67.905, AS
BEING COMPLETE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO PROCESS THE
RECORDATION OF THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, on June 7, 2011, the City Council awarded a contract to Superior
Demolition, Inc. in the amount of $32,198 for the Annex Building Demolition Project;
and
WHEREAS, the project started on July 8, 2011, and was completed on July 29,
2011, and Public Works staff conducted the final inspection on August 1, 2011 and
found that all work was completed in accordance with the contract requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts The Annex
Building Demolition Project, Project No. 4011 67 905 as complete in accordance with
contract documents; and, authorizes the City Engineer to record the Notice of
Completion.
Section 2 . This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3 . The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 16 day of August, 2011.
