Purpose of the meeting was to consider the Amended Budget for January, 19']4 through June, 1975, and new ordinances for the Town of Wellsburg. Heinrich moved, Cordes 2nd a motion to suspend the rules and waive the 2nd and 3rd readings of the Resolution changing references from town to city and thereby conforming with state law. Roll call of votes -- Ayes -Heinrich, Cordes, Fairbanks, Van Deest Nays -None Absent=Huisman Carried. Moved by Van Deest, 2nd by Fairbanks to adopt said Resolution. There being no objections or objectors to amendment of the current budget, Van Deest moved, Cordes 2nd its adoption. Request for the renewal of a cigarette permit for The Pub was approved on a motion by Van Deest, 2nd by Cordes. Carried. Heinrich moved, Cordes 2nd allowance for payment of the claim of the Iowa State Highway Commission for a used oil distributor to be paid from Federal Revenue Sharing Funds in the amount of $1000. Laurence Lutterman appeared before the council and requested a water main be extended to his property line. The council took no action at this time.
