COUNCIL MINUTES
SPECIAL MEETING - DECEMBER 28, 1998
The Special Meeting of the Bal Harbour Village Council was held on
Monday, December 28, 1998, in the Council Chambers at Bal Harbour
Village Hall. The meeting was called to order at 12:10 p.m. by
Mayor Spiegel. Those present were:
Councilman James E. Boggess
Councilman Peg E. Gorson
Assistant Mayor Andrew R. Hirschl
Mayor Estelle Spiegel
Councilman Daniel S. Tantleff
Also present: Alfred J. Treppeda, Village Manager
Ellisa Wright, Deputy Village Clerk
Richard J. Weiss, Village Attorney
Stephen Helfman, Village Attorney
Daniel Weiss, Village Attorney
2. Executive Session: At this time, Mr. Weiss explained the
Council is going to conduct an Executive Session on the litigation
relating to the rezoning of the property on Collins Avenue. The
session will last approximately one hour.
The persons attending the session will be Mayor Spiegel, Assistant
Mayor Hirschl, Councilman Boggess, Councilman Gorson, Councilman
Tantleff, Richard Weiss, Stephen Helfman, Daniel Weiss, and Alfred
Treppeda, the Village Manager.
At this time the Deputy Village Clerk Ellisa Wright left the room.
The Special Meeting reconvened and a motion was made to adjourn.
The meeting adjourned at 12:50 p.m.
