A Special meeting of the Village Board was held on the above date
and the following business transacted;
Members present were: Roberts
Burnside
Fortin
Fogg
Ruark
The Chairman declared the purpose of the meeting was to diwcuss the
proposed budget for the 1959-1960 fiscal year.
Following a discussion on the major purchases in each department the
following tenative increases in salary were proposed:
Police Chief-$375.00
Night Patrolman-$350.00
Leonard fiakaret-$430.00
Gold Course-$375.00
Clerk-$160.00
Assft Clerk-$150.00
Wages of Village employees hired by the hour-1.60 per hr., and
$12.00 per shift for extra police.
Other items discussed were the purchase of new greens mowers, construction
of the Caddy house, parts for the additional fire truck etc.
No further business coming before the foard the meeting was declared
recessed until the call of the chair.

A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of MCCatt
was held on the above date and the following business transacted.

Also present was Charles Spence the Village attorney.
Fogg moved the meeting of March 2, 1959 be adjourned, which motion
was seconded by Fogg and declared carried unanimously.
The minutes of the previous meetings were read and approved as read.
Spence reported that !there was no father report on the Westmtt property
at this time. Spence read a letter from the Uni®n Pacific RR regarding
the proposed railroad crossing on Stibnite Ave and the cost of same
strting another inspection would be made by the Railroad Engineer.
No action was taken on the traffic regulations in the schoolzone area.
Spence stated he did not write the Park Motel regarding their Loud speaker
by would if the nusianee persisted.
A letter from the CAA regarding the amendment of cancellation of of
Grant agreement was read, following which Burnside R''hri ducted and moved
the adoption of the following resolution withdrawing from the Federal
Grant and Aid:

Municipal AirPert, Project Nos 9.10-036-5902* is hereby cancelled and
termineted without any liability thereunder by either party thereto,
with the same force and effect as if said Orent Ameement had not
been issued by the United States or accepted by the Village of McCell
Idaho.

The resolution and adoption of same was duly seconded by Fogg and
declared carried unanimously.
Grid Rowtes who was present discussed the expansion of the Telephone
System and the proposed building program and underground conduit leading
into the new building.
The budget was discussed item by item and a tentative budgetadopted.
The beer license request of Dave Speilman was read to the Board following
which Ruark moved the application be approved . The motion was seconded
by Fortin and dectred carried unanimously.
