Members present: Roberts Foga Rua rk Fortin Burnside ►r r► rr Ir IF Also present was Charles Spence, Villaae Attorny. the Chairman stated the meeting was called for the purpose of cr;nsidering the golf course ground which had been sold by the Dewey Davis estate to Ronald J. Hamilton which ground is necessary for .the °operation of the golf course. Spence reported on the around purchased by R.J. Hamilton covering No, 3 green and No. 4 tee and briefly reviewed the circumstances which led to his purchase. He also reviewed the agreement with the Dewey Davis Estate to complete the street in the Dewey Davis subdivision in return for the golf course ground in question. There followed a discussion on the amount of land necessary for the Village to have for the operation of the golf course. It was the oppinion of the Board following discussion that an additional 50ft. in width by approximately 650 ft. in depth was deemed necessary. Lurnside moved to authorize Spence to negotiate with Ronald J. Hamilton to purchase the necessary around consisting of a 50 ft. by 650 ft. strip. The motion was seconded by Ruark and declared carried unan- imously. Following the authorization to negotiate possible alternative courses of condemnation of the ground ;were briefly discussed. Roberts reported he had received a contract from the Union Pacific Railroad on the Stibnite Avn, crossing and the contract was dis- cussed and approved by the Village Attorney. Following discussion Fortin moved the Board authorize the Chairman to sign the contract with the (anion Pacific in the approximate amount of „709 and return to them for their signature, the motion was seconded by Fora rnri declared carried unanimously. The Clerk reported on the request of Perc Shelton to accept the mission subdivision as part of the Village of McCall. There followed discussion on the shape and area of the lots which were beiog accepted and it was the oppinion of the Board that this acceptence of the subdivision should be an even plot of ground accepted after it was determined if it were in the limits of the Village of McCall.
