by Hoff and Brown for labor on streets be dissollowed..
Clerk was instructed to draw up contract with Walter Matterson
for laying of 3oo feet pipe line and digging trench 5 feet deep amount
of consideration being eighty dollars for the job.
A petition requesting the Village to put in side walks on lake
side of Lake Street was read by the Clerk, no action was taken by the
Village at this meeting, petition was layed over on the table for further
investigation.
Motion by that the Village set aside a fund out of the
teneral fundfor the rchase of a tract of land known as the race track;
his motion wasseconded by Berry motion carried.
There being no further business motion to adjourn subject to
the call of the Chairman

Meeting May 20th 1929
Meeting called for the purpose of discussing the le ga 1
rights of the Villageowning the 2 acres of dump ground.. Mr Whitney
and A H Meyers investigated and obtained valuable information at Cascade
regarding this land and Mr Whitney gave a very interesting. talk
giving all facts he obtained at Cascade. It was decided that the Ville ge
retain their rights to the land and proceedto dump trash on the Village
dump grounds. There being no further business meeting adjourned.
