The following visitors were present.
Walter Williams, Dr U S Craft Bert La Fay, Leonard A ckard Army White,
Mindy Phillips, Tomas Reedy, Clem Blackwell, B B McCall ana 2sley Flannery.
Walter Tilliams made a talk in ti-e interests of the residences
of Neb hill regarding the Stover dogs, which they claim are a nusence
to the public andasked the council to have the cause removed. The council
will get in touch with Mr Stover and ascertain if this can be maid avoided..
The property owners livingacross the Street and road leading
to Lakeview camp met with the Council andasked to have them set out side
of the corporated village limits. Council considered this action where
upon a motion was made by Page and seconded by Shiefer that the clerk
be instructed to investigate regarding legality of this action. Motion
was carried.
The Clerk brought up the matter as to whom should resume the
responsibility of reading the water meters, It being discussed after which
it was decided that the Village Marshall shall come under the jurisdiction
of the Chairman who shall ascertain what the duties shall be, also to
employ and discharge.
The Chairman appointed Berry Shiefer and Page to ascertain
what repairs should be done to the Village Hall.
The Village Board discussed with Army White regarding the
lump grounds, Bar White advised that he wouldmake the Village a proposition
within a few days.
