Mayor Vandernail called the meeting to order at 6:10 p.m.
1. Rollcall:
Mayor Philip Vandernail; Mayor Pro-Tern Eileen Waldow; Trustees; Andy Miller, Brian
Cerkvenik, Katie Soles, Parnell Quinn and Ryan Barwick
2. Approval of Agenda:
Trustee Soles moved, and Trustee Waldow seconded the motion to approve the
agenda. Motion carried:7- 0.
3. Consent Agenda:
a) Minutes September 2, 2020
Trustee Soles moved, and Trustee Waldow seconded the motion to approve the
consent agenda. Motion carried: 7-0.
4. Discussion and Possible Action Regarding:
a) Grand Park Open Space
Public Comment was taken regarding the Grand Park Open Space. Due to failure of the
virtual platform public comment will be continued to the October 7, 2020 Board meeting.
Spoke at the meeting in person: Peggy Smith, Jack Van horn, Joe Rooyakkers,
unknown woman
b) Board of County Commissioners Update and Intergovernmental Agreement

The board directed staff to prepare a draft Intergovernmental Agreement for the Board of
County Commissioners regarding the for the cost sharing of the CR 8 and CR 72
pavement project.
c) Resolution 2020-09-09 Flowmeter Upgrades for Fraser Wells and Maryvale Well
Field
Trustee Soles moved, and Trustee Miller seconded the motion to approve Resolution
2020-09-09 Flowmeter Upgrades for Fraser Wells and Maryvale Well Field
Motion carried: 7-0.
d) Resolution 2020-09-10 Well Rehabilitation Services Wells 2, 7 And 9
Trustee Miller moved, and Trustee Barwick seconded the motion to approve Resolution
2020-09-10 Well Rehabilitation Services Wells 2, 7 And 9 Motion carried: 7-0.
e) Budget Committee
Trustees Barwick, Cerkvenik and Quinn will sit on the budget committee.
5. Open Forum:
a) Business not on the agenda
6. Updates:
The Board directed staff to release a statement to apologize for the platform failure
during this meeting.
7. Adjourn:
Trustee Soles moved, and Trustee Miller seconded the motion to adjourn. Motion
carried: 7-0. Meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
