Mayor Vandernail called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
1. Rol!call: Mayor Philip Vandernail; Mayor Pro-Tern Eileen Waldow; Trustees; Andy
Miller, Brian Cerkvenik, Katie Soles and Parnell Quinn
2. Approval of Agenda:
Trustee Soles moved, and Trustee Miller seconded the motion to approve the agenda.
Motion carried: 6-0.
3. Consent Agenda:
a) Minutes September 16, 2020
b) Minutes October 7, 2020
Trustee Quinn moved, and Trustee Miller seconded the motion to approve the consent
agenda. Motion carried: 6-0.
4. Discussion and Possible Action Regarding:
a) Economic Development Advisory Committee
Trustee Soles moved, and Trustee Waldow seconded the motion to approve Paula
Metcalf Stuart as the newest member to the Economic Development Advisory
Committee Motion carried: 6-0.
b) Resolution 2020-10-06 Authorizing Expenditures for Audio and Visual Equipment
Trustee Miller moved, and Trustee Waldow seconded the motion to approve Resolution
2020-10-06 Authorizing Expenditures for Audio and Visual Equipment
Motion carried: 6-0.
5. Open Forum:

a) Clark Lipscomb spoke regarding the Mill Avenue Apartments.
b) Sue Colburn
6. Updates:
Durbin: Core of Engineers regarding Grand Park Permits, COVID Letter from Grand
County Health
Trustee Waldow moved, and Trustee Soles seconded the motion that we join the Grand
County Public Health to make a strong statement and continue to support their efforts
and follow their recommendations. Motion carried: 6-0.
7. Executive Session:
For discussion of a personnel matter under C.R.S. Section 24-6-402(4)(f)(I)
and not involving any specific employees who have requested discussion of the matter
in open session. To Include Town Manager Jeff Durbin
Trustee Miller moved, and Trustee Soles seconded the motion to open the Executive
Session. Motion carried: 6-0. at 7:40 p.m.
Trustee Miller moved, and Trustee Soles seconded the motion to close the Executive
Session. Motion carried: 6-0 at 8:40 p.m.
8. Adjourn:
Trustee Soles moved, and Trustee Miller seconded the motion to adjourn. Motion
carried: 6-0. Meeting adjourned at 8:40 p.m.
