Mayor Ross callec' a special meeting of the Council, for the
purpose of considering the application of Henry Hi��en for a
Class C Beer permit.
M2.yor Ross presiding and councilmen, H P Kruse, H L Luwe,
Neil 01�ones and Geo Lindaman present;- absent Wessel Haack.
It was moved b,y Okones second by Kruse that we vote by
ballot on the fo11_owing question presented by the Mayor; -
Shall Henry Hinpen be granted a Class C Beer permit.
Vote result 2.s follows; -
Yes - 3 votes No- 1 vote
NIa� or declared the cuestion ( yes Carried and the x�ermit
was granted. Okones Lindaman
It was moved by �z����nan second by ����es that the Bond
of Henry Hipnen be a.pnroved.

Mayor declared motion carried.
�t ivas moved byKruse second bar Okones that the Mayor and
filer make an appointment with the Budget Director in Les
Moines ,and make some arrangements regarding the Warrants
outstandin to nay for the present Watertvroks system expenses.

following Ordinance, entitled Ordinance No. 96 ( An
' Ordinance Regulating; the Waterworks System, establishing
Rates, Ru7_es and Regulations and prescribin�t penalties
f o� �olation" ) being and Ordinance repealing Se:,tioh
20�0� Ordinance No. 7� being an Ordinance with tTle same
title, and enacting a substitute for section ?& ��ereof.-
and moved the adoption of same.
Motion seconded by Councilman Kruse.

Councilman H L Luwe; moved that the title requireing an Ordinance
to be read do t'nree different days be dispensed with, and that
the Clerk read the Ordinance as of its first, second and thir d
reading.
Motion seconded by O'_�ones.

re�.d for the third time, be and the same is hereby passed and
adopted by this Council and that the clerk be directed to publish
same in accordance with the law
