Thatkr Eston Freeman be appointed to fill the vacaneie, on the Board of Trustees created by the resignation of Mr Ulmer. Seconded by Deinhard. Mote was unanimous in favor of motion.Mr Freeman being presemt,wns then sworn in by the Clerk. Robert Davis was present at this meeting and requested a decision in regard to closing 5th and 6th Streets in the Dewey -Davis Estate Tract. Trustee Deinhard introduced Ordinance N o.800 an Ordinance vecating bth St. between. Blocks 19 and 14, and 6th St.between Blocks 15 and 16 ,said Streets running westerly for tote full length #f thereof from the place where said streets intersect the Easterly Block line running Notth and South along; the East sides of Blocks 13, 14, 15,& 16: Davis Beach Tract, Motion by Vance. That an,emergency be declared to exist and ghat the rules requiring the reading of an Ordinance at three consecutive meetings beffre putting seine to a vote be suspended and that Ordinance No.80 be read twice by Title and the third time in full and final vote be taken on Same. Seconded by Deinhatd. Vote was unanimous in favor of motion. Lhereupon Ordinance No.80 Wes read by the C1erk,Twice by title and the third time in full and placed for finial vote. (Coninued,on Page 360) .16 o (Continued from Page 3b8) Chairman Peer informed the Council that Captain Goates Commander of the C.C.C.Camp requested permission from the Village to construct a gravel sidewalk paralleling the North side of the Highway from the Campinto Town. The question of the fence on the Bush property was disc sled as it was in the way of the sidewalk. Motion by Deinhard. That Chas Arnold be instructed to find out if this fence was on the property line. Seconded by Vance, Vote WGs unanimous in favor of Motion. The uestion of raising the Beer License Fee was discussed. Trustee Deinhard introduced Ordinance N o.81 an Ordinance amending Bection b of Ordinance No.72 an Ordinance fixing the Annual License Fee for retailers of Beer. Ordinance No.81. That Section b of Ordinance No.72 :an Ordinance " fixink the Annual license Fee for Retailers of Beer shall amended to read, Every person licensed under the probisions this Ordinance shall pay in advance to the Village Clerk the sum of $12.50 i er year for the •rivilege of retailing oled Beer only, and 425.00 per year for Bottled and braug3Beer. Motion o Freeman. That an emergency be declared to exist and that the rules requiring the reading of an Ordinance at three consecutive meetings be dispensed with and that Ordinance N o.81 be reed twice by Title and the third time in full and put to final vote. Seconded by Vance. Vote was unanimous in favor of Motion. Thereupon Ordinance N o.81 was read by the Clerk, twice by Title and the third time in full and placed for final vote. Vote was by roll as follows. Deinhard, dye. Freeman, dye. Vance, eye. Hayes. None. Ordinance N o.81 was then signed by Chairman Peer and Clerk was instructed to hve copy of same published in the Payette Lakes Star. Trustee Freeman introduced Ordinance N o.82 an Ordinance fixing an annual License Fee for the privilege of o c ating a Pastime in the Village of McCall and defining Pastimes as any Pool and Billiards or Card hoom,or Pool and Billiards and Card Room,and setting the Annual License Fee at 00.00 per Pastime, Said Ordinance lio.82 to become effective July 1 1935. Licefte year to be from July l,to June 30 of the succeeding year. Motion by Vance. That an emergency be declared to exist and that the rules requiring the reading of an Ordinance at three consecutive meetings before putting sane to a vote,be dispensed with and that Ordinance N o.82'be read by the Clerk twice by Title and the third time in full and be placed for final vite.
