Due to the absence of Chairman Peer and a quorum being Cresent, motion was made by Howell, that Tim Deinhard be appointed hairman (Pro-Tem) of this meeting. Seconded by Freeman. Ordinance No.W termed " The Annual Appropriation Bill" was introduced at this meeting. Motion byTWAMW That an emergency be declared to exist and that the rules requiring tree reading of an Ordinance at three consecutive meetings be dispensed with ana that Ordinance No.W be read uy the Clerk twice by Title and the third time in full and final vote be taken on same. Seconded by Howell, vote was unanimous in favor of motion. Whereupon Ordinance Mo.83 was read by the Clerk,Twice by Title, apg the third time in full and placed for final Vote. That an emergency be declared to exist and that the rules requiring the reading of an ordinance at three consecutive meetings before putting same to a vote be dispensed with and that Ordinance No.64 be read twice by Title and the third time in full and final vote be tauten on same. Seconded by Vance. Vote was unanimous in favor of motion. Whereupon Ordinance No.64 was read by the Clerk, Twice by Title and the third time in full and placed for final vote. Vote was by moll Call as follows. Freeman, Aye. Vance, eye. Howell, Aye. Nayes, None. Ordinance No.64 was teen :signed ,by Chairman Deinaard and -clerk was instructed to have copy or same puulished as required uy law. Levy as set by Ordinance No.64 was as follows. General fund .U00" Bond & Interest Fund .00b' Street Lights Fund .005` Library & Cemetery Fund , 0 Total Levy .0 The matter of sewage seeping into the street from the Gook residence where Dr Graft resides was pit# discussed. lotion by Howell. 'That Mr Cook be notified to take care of this matter within 10 days . Seconded by Vance. Vote was unanimous in favor of motion. The matter of hiring a Marshall to fill yhe vacancie created,by the resignation of G.Borgman was discussed. Application from O.Mi.gyyser was read by the Clerk. Oral applications were made by C.1.Stephens and Paul Ingebretsen. Et Ingebretsen having been_ appointed temporarily to the position foilowink the resig- nation of Er Borgman. Motion by Howell. That C.A.Stephens be appointed as Village Marshall. Seconded by Vance. Vote was unanimous in tavor of motion. E.A.Vance tendered his resignation as a member of the Board of 'Trustees same 60 become effective immediately. Motion by Fteeman. That resignation be accepted. Seconded by Howell.
