Moved,Secondei and unanimously voted that the bills
be paid as read.
C.R.Dorsey, E.J.Abbott and A.&.Goodman were present at
this meeting and requested that action be taken to straighten
the Street Line on the North Side of Lake Street especially
that es' the Peabody. property that juts into the Street be
acquired and a retaining wall be constructed in line with the
other property in the block. After discussion it was voted to
call on Mr Peabody and find out if he would deed this strip
to the Village if the Village would construet the retaining
wall and make the fill on the street side and if Mr Peabody
should decline to do this that the Village would immediately
start condemnation proceedings to acquire same.
