Special meeting of Taxpayers called by Village Board
of Trustees to discuss and decide what further to do in
regard to Village Fell.

Leeting called to order by Chairmen Peer.
There was a large number of Taxpayers present.
tr Dir the driller informed those present that he had

reeehed a depth of 400 feet and that the well had caved from
u; the 20 foot level which wpuld make it necessar7 to case from
W the 211 loot level to the present depth it the iillege wanted
to drill farther then the 400 loot depth where he now wes.a.nd
-* if it was decided to drill deeper the Village would have to
purchase ;11 feet of inch casing as agreed upon at the Feu.i
meeting to reach .from the 211 loot ievei to the surf2ce.
Dir also agreed to. dri$1 below the 400 foot level for �2.00
per foot without casing for purpose of testing.
There vies considerable debate for antl against csoniinuei.ug
t,ue well. The fine' result wes that the majority was in
favor of cint4nuing with the well. `;hereupon the Board of
Trustees authorized Lir Dir to order the casing required end
continue with the drilling.
There being no further buiiness to come before the
Board the meeting was adjourned.
