Thet the bills be paid 2s read. Seconded by Bonecher. Vote was unanimous in favor of motion. Letter from the University of Idaho, School of Forestry, was read by the Clerk. The letter stated that the School appreciated the offer made by the Village to assign the P cetrack 80 over to them for school purposes, and reouested that the Village proceed with the matter by instructing the State Iend Department to assign the sale contracts held by the Village over to t Ze School. Motion by Mowrey. That Village authorize the State Lend Department to assign the contracts on the Bacetrack 80 acres, over to the School of Forestry and that the Village waive all claims for payments made on said contracts in the past and that the Village lerk proceed immediately with the correspondence necessary to effect this transfer. Seconded by Vesper. Motion carried unanimously. The matter of enforcing Ordinance No.109, pret2ining to local sanitation was discussed. A letter from the Bureau of Public "'elfare demanding that all outside Toilets, Privy Vaults, and Cesspools be done away with, was read. Motion by Mowrey. That all residences and business houses that can be connected to the Sewer and which are not at present connected to same be given notice to connect to Sewer within 30 days and that any property owners who fail to comply with this order be subjected to the penalties prescribed in Ordinance No.109. Seconded by Vesper. Vote was unanimous in favor of motion. Fred C. Johnson was present and made application for a Pastime License. Motion by Mowrey. That License be granted. Seconded by Bonecher. State House, ?poise, Ideho. flentlemen : The University of Idaho, Moscow, Ideho, is interested in and desires to obtain an 80 acre tract of lend which the Vi11ege of McCall, Idaho, hes under contract to purchase from the State. The Vinery Hoard of Trustees, et a regular meeting held 7eb.5, 1940, voted unanimouslyto have the above contracts assigned to the University of Idaho, and to waive all claims for made on same in the pest. payments The Village Board of Trustees instructed me to advise you of their action in this matter and to request that the assignment be made at your earliest convenience if the University of Ideho still desires this tract of land. I will write the University toda and inform them of the Boards action end request that they notify you immediately if they still want this lend. Gentlemen: At a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of McCall, Idaho, held 'eb.b 1940 it wegjoted unanimously to assign the contracts on the 8 ,, rect of land you are interested in, over to your School. I am writing the State Land Department, today, advising them of the Boards action and requestingthat the assignment be made immediately if you still desire this tract of lend. Please advise the State Lend repartment yop of your wishes in this matter, it your earliest conven— ience es they have been instructed to wait until they hear from you before pproceeding with the assignment of this land from the Village over to your School. The matter of limiting the number of Pastime end Beer licensee's and also the matter of raising the Beer and Pastime License fee's, was discussed. There was no action taken on these matters at this meeting. Mr. Chas. H. Davis, Certified Public Accountant, was resent at this meeting and requested a contract to do tie Annual Audit for the Village for a period of 3 years for $60.00, per Year. Motion by Gillespie. That contract be awarded Mr. Davis on those terms. Seconded by Mowrey. Motion carried unanimously.
