Martha Hentley met with the hoard regarding leaving the postoffice
lobby open after office hours. It was discussed to considerable
length and final decision was made that she place someone behind
the screen after closing hours to keep check on matters. The
Board agreed to see that party thus placed in postoffice be paid
for their time.
harry Brandt took up the matter of cutting down the hill near
Les Ulmer' s property, and in the same trend several other hills
were reported to be in need of the same treatment. It was moved
seconded and carried that as Brown's Tie & Lumber Co. agreeded to
furnish the Cat for this *soak, the Village Board would assume the
added expense of the work, such as cat expense and operator. It
was ordered to have this work done as soon as possible.
Harry Bean, Orville Kyser and E. A. Watkins also met with the
board in the interest of sewerage, stating that they would like
to have sewer connection as soon as possible, as they felt they
were entitled to steer connection as in original survey. The mat-
ter was discussed and left up to Watkins to run a survey deter-
mining the most feasible place for the above parties to hook-up.
Watkins to report at a future date.
There being no further business the board adjourned.
