Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of McCall

Meeting was called to order by Chairman Jordan.
Minutes of the past meeting were read and on motion

`i'he Postoffice matter was left up to Mr. Carr to check upon.
Harry Bean appeared before the Board in the interest of sewerage
in his section of the village. He stated that approximately
1110 ft of line would be necessary for the hook-up stating that
14 homes could be served by this proposed sewer line. The matter
was discussed to considerable length and Mr. Bean was assured
that the Board would do all in its power to promote the project
at the earliest possible date.
George South reported that he had been to Stibnite for several
days and suggested that he thought it a feasible idea that the
Board carry an advertisement in the Stibnite Miner advertising
McCall as d summer restor and inviting the Stibnite people to
visit McCall during their vacations. No action was taken.
George South presented a petition signed by 24 property owners
in his portion of the village asking that water mains be ex-
tended to that portion of tom, stating that they were badly in
need of water as many of the wells had become dry. Mr. South
and the petition signers were given the assurance that the Board
would take action regarding this matter as soon as the necessary
material could be abtained.
Gene Oreeman appeared before the Board in the interests of the
Golf Course, stating that much needed repairs were needed at
the Caddy House. A new floor, some windows and other repairs
are needed, according to Mr. Freeman, also a tent cover for a
vent house. The Board advised Mr. vreeman to go ahead and have
the necessary repairs made, also to purchase the tent house
cover if ohe could be found.
Motion by IN. A. Carr seconded by M. R. Bonecher, that the Clerk
be instructed to write Otto, Close regarding his water rental.
Clerk was instructed to suspend past indebtedness and start
collectioAs with the Month of May, 1944.
On Motion the Estimate of Budget for the ziscal Year Ending -pril
30, 1945, was passed, as follows: -
