The Board of Trustees of the Village of McCall, Idaho, met
on the above date, in special session, gat the call of Mr.
Clare, of the State Board of Health, Mr. Davis, of the
Office of Post Engineers, Gowen Field, Boise, and several
Army officers and others interested in the amount of
Chlorine placed in the "rater Mains of the Water Supply of the
Village of McCall.

Meeting wqs called to order oy Chairman Jordan and was then
Turned over to Mr. Clare to state his requirements.
considerable discussion was held by Mr. Clare and Mr. Davis
who ooth stated that the water of McCall was very good and that
samples received by the Board of Health, Boise, had proved to
oe of a satisfactory nature. Mr. Clare stated that he would
recommend that the Village Board pruchase a master meter to be
installed at the pump so that the amount of water pumped each
day could be determined; .1so, he recommended that the Board
puarchase a set of scales in order to weigh the amount of
Chlorine used daily; Also, that the gaily report sheets be
kept oy the watermaster and sent in to the State Board of
Health office, together with two samples of water each month.
After some discussion the Board, with the permission of Mr.
Clare and Mrs.Ia vis decided to postpone the purchase of the
Master Meter and Scales until the next regular meeting which
will be held May 7th, 1945, when, it could be decided whether
or not the Brown's Tie & Lumber Company will or will not pump
the water for the city during, the mill season.
The Clerk was instructed to write Wallace Tiernan Sales Corp.,
917 Terminal Building, Seattle, Washington, to find out
what a set of scales would cost suitable for this purpose.
Motion made and carried to adjourn.
