F. Jordan, Chairman Wallace Hiatt Ralph Paris J. T. Kasper Meeting was callei to or ter by Chairman Jordan. The minutes of the last meeting of January 14, 1946, were real, an i on motion approved as read. The Clerk reat the following bills: -- State Insurance Fund Premium 42.93 Salt Lake Stamp Co. Seaquist Clerk 50.00 Moved by Wallace Hiatt, seconded by J. W. Kasper that bills be allowd as red. Carried. Wallace Hiatt reported. that Orville Brooks accepted the auditing of the cooks on a pro -rate basisas per last audit. Moved by J. W. Kasper, seconded by Ralph Paris that Mr. Brooks be given the auditing job as stated above. Carried. Tony Beaver met with the Board asking permission to move the old Brown's Tie & Lumber Co. office building onto his lots located betweek the Lumber Retail Shed and the Payette Lakes Star Office building. Moved by J. W. Kasper, seconded by Wallace Hiatt that Mr. Beaver be granted permission to move the building as above stated, as a temporary location for same. Carried. Motion by Ralph Paris, seconded by J. W. Kasper that Ordinance No. 105 in regard to bulling in the fire zone and obtaining building permits, be enforced. Motion carried. Motion by Ralph Paris that Stover & Nelson remove or make same fireproof, the building built across the alley from their business building, seconded by Wallace Hiatt. Motion carried. Mrs. Edith Vassar met with the Board andreported on the tax situation. Her report contained the ilea that it was not advisable to raise the complete valuation of the tax rolls, but to equalize the individual properties of the listrict. She reported that the county assessor reported that it was his belief that if the individual taxes on property were equalized, it was his belief that the revenue wouli be increase; at least 10 per cen4. The Chairman appointed himself, Ralph Paris an-i M. P. Bonecher as a committee to meet in conjunction with two members of the school board, to met with the County Commissioners at their next regular meeting , February 11, 1946 in regard to getting county commissioners to appoing appraisers in order to have taxes equalize., thus in- creasing tax revenue to the Village. Motion by Ralpn Paris, seconded by J. W. Kasper that Board set aside from the General Fund the sum of $2497.21 into an Equipment Fund, ali that all fines collecte_i in the future be included in this fun=' . Motion carried. It was moved, seconded aril carried to adjourn.
