A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of McCall, Idaho, was
held on the above date for the purpose of considering a business tax for the
Village of McCall and any other business which might come before s~.id meeting.

The meeting was called to order by Chairman ?~. E. Jordan.
Considerable discussion was had regarding a business tax for the Villa ge of
McCall and the matter was turned over to Ben n;gartin who was instructed to drat:
an ordinance covering the same.
The following resolution was pass ed by the Board;
Motion by Vallace Hiatt and seconded by Ralph Paris -
"Be it hereby resolved that the chickens and chicken house in the rear of the
Hotel McCall, Idaho, are declared to be a pudic nuisance in that they arE a
menance to public health and safety. Now, therefore, the said chickens are to
be removed and the said chicken house is to be thoroughly cleaned or removed by
the first day of August 1947 and in the event of the failure of the Hotel McCall
to comply with +.,he terms of this resolution the Chief of Police is instructed to
carry out the provisions of the same and the expenses of so doing are to b e
especially assessed against the said property.
Motion by Ralph Paris seconded by VCallace Hiatt that Ordinance ~ 141 covering the
sale and use of fireworks be accepted and made law. Carried.
