A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of t;eCall was
held on the above date and the following business transacted:

The meeting was called to order by Ralph Paris Chairman Protein.
The minutes of April 16 and May 3rd were read and approved.
.; Moved by' Ralph Paris seconded by ~dallace Hiatt that Glenn Howell be
appointed as a member of the Village Board of Trustees to fill the vacancy
caused by the resignation of ~. E. Jordan. The motion carried unanimous.
Potion by Ralph Paris seconded by Joe gasper that Glenn Howell be appointed
Chairman of the Board. Carried.

Motion by Joe gasper seconded by Bob McBride that the bills be paid as read.
Carried.
Mrs. Carl Brown appeared before the Board. as a representative of the
Rrogressive club and requested the Public beach on the Dewey Davis Estate
be opened and the fences be removed.
Rttotion by Ralph Paris seconded by Joe Kasper that the Villa ge serve notice
on property owners, who have fences on said public park, requesting their
removal and if said fences are not removed within two weeks that abatement
proceedings be instituted. Carried.
Motion by Ralph Paris seconded by ti`iallace Hiatt that the Village pay Dewey
Bowman X25.00 and give Mrs. Bowman a season ticket to the Golf Course for
spraying said course with DDT. Carried.
Mivtion by Joe gasper seconded by Ralph Paris thetthe Golf rues be changed
to read -for Saturday, Sundays & holtdays

Lotion by Ralph Paris seconded by Joe Kasper that the Village pay Chester
Stephens X40.00 per month for the month of June for the use of his personal
car for police vzork. Carried.

as n fight policeman at the rate of X260.00 per month. Apr~ointment to be
retroactive to June 3rd. Carried.

vrith the suggestion Chet the Village trade him a life amount of land beginning
30 feet south of his present property provided George South shall pay for the
vrork vrhich P~Sr. Avery has done on his property. Carried.
Pdiotion by Ralph Paris seconded by Bob PrcBride that C. C. Anderson Stores Co.
be issued a beer license for the s~.le of bottled beer not to be consumed on the ,.~,:
