HomeMy Public PortalAbout03.22.2021 - PB Minutes - Approved MINUTES OF A REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETING OF THE PLANNING BOARD OF THE TOWN OF IRONDEQUOIT HELD AT THE IRONDEQUOIT TOWN HALL, 1280 TITUS AVENUE, MONROE COUNTY, NEW YORK, ON MONDAY, MARCH 22, 2021 AT 7:00 P.M. TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING CASES: Due to the public gathering restrictions and executive orders in place because of COVID-19, this Planning Board meeting was conducted remotely. BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Bernard Blocchi Chairman Michael Eveland Member Mary Hollenbeck Member Bradley Huber Member Jacqueline Murray Alt. Member Michael Palermo Member Spencer Read Member Allan Richards Member STAFF PRESENT: Nathan Vander Wal Deputy Town Attorney Kerry Ivers Director Michelle Nichols Recording Secretary The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. Chairman Blocchi instructed the applicants and the public as to the procedure to be followed for presentation of cases and public input. He stated that the meeting is being recorded and is not intended to be a verbatim record but only to indicate the sum and substance of the proceedings. Case No: PB2021-03-1 Upon the matter of request by Jenny Le, for REVISED SITE PLAN APPROVAL, to operate a nail salon with a primary residence on the second floor, on premises 1825 E. RIDGE ROAD, in an M – Manufacturing District. After hearing the applicant’s presentation; no one spoke at public input and public input was closed. Monroe County Department of Planning Referral: N/A After Board discussion, the Board determined: The Board classified this as a TYPE II ACTION pursuant to SEQRA. ON MOTION by Board Member Read, seconded by Board Member Hollenbeck, carried: unanimously the Board: Granted Revised Site Plan Approval with the following conditions: • Any new signage proposed will be submitted to the Planning Board for approvals. • All garage repairs be code compliant. Case No: PB2021-03-2 Upon the matter of request by David Chappius & Matthew Perdue, for FLOODPLAIN & COASTAL EROSION HAZZARD AREA ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION OVERLAY DISTRICT (EPOD) PERMITS, to construct a 3-season addition & storage room, on premises 4925 CULVER ROAD, in a R-1 Residential District. After hearing the applicant’s presentation; no one spoke at public input and public input was closed. Monroe County Department of Planning Referral: N/A After Board discussion, the Board determined: The Board classified this as a TYPE II ACTION pursuant to SEQRA. ON MOTION by Board Member Eveland, seconded by Board Member Hollenbeck, carried: 6 Aye, 0 Nay, 1 Absent, 1 Abstained the Board: Granted Floodplain & coastal Erosion Hazzard Area Environmental Protection Overlay District Permits as submitted. Case No: PB2021-01-1 – Tabled Item Upon the matter of request by Land Tech Surveying & Planning PLLC, acting as agent for Pemm, LLC (Quicklee’s) for PRELIMINARY / FINAL SITE PLAN APPROVAL, to construct a convenient store with a gas station, drive-thru tenant and detached car wash building with site related improvements, on premises 2590 CULVER ROAD, in a C- Business District. This case remains tabled until the April Planning Board meetings. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: ON MOTION by Board Member Eveland, seconded by Board Member Read, carried: 6 Aye, 0 Nay, 1 Absent, 1 Abstained, the Board Approved the FEBRUARY 22, 2021 Planning Board Minutes AS AMENDED. There being no further business to come before the Board, on Motion by Board Member Blocchi, seconded by Board Member Eveland, Motion Carried: 6 Aye, 0 Nay, 1 Absent, 1 Abstained, the meeting was adjourned at 7:30 p.m. Michelle Nichols Recording Secretary
