A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT
AND ESTIMATE OF COSTS FOR THE KIMBERLITE STREET — SOUTH
IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
Whereas, on the 29th of February 2024, Plans, Specifications, Form of Contract and
Estimate of Costs were filed with the City of Tiffin for the Kimberlite Street — South
Improvements Project; and,
Whereas, the Notice of Hearing on the Plans, Specifications, Form of Contract and
Estimate of Costs were published as required by law,
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, that the
plans, specifications, form of contract and estimate of costs for the Kimberlite Street —
South Improvements Project be approved with the approval of this resolution.
On the 5th day of March 2024, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Orris introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2024-014, A RESOLUTION
APPROVING PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT AND ESTIMATE
OF COSTS FOR THE KIMBERLITE STREET — SOUTH IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Olney.
Ayes: Orris, Schnedler, Limkemann, Havens, Olney.
Nays: None.
Absent: None.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor
Kasparek declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2024-014, A RESOLUTION APPROVING
PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT AND ESTIMATE OF COSTS FOR
THE KIMBERLITE STREET — SOUTH IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT to be adopted and
signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 5th day of March, 2024.
