HomeMy Public PortalAbout1949.10.03 Council MinutesOctober 3, 1949 A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of McCall, Idaho, wm held on the above date and the following business transacted: Roll Call: Art Roberts Forest Goodrich Henry Hoff Fred Kerby The minutes of September 12 were read and approved. MrS,Hauser appeared before the board and made gpplication for the concession at the golf course for the coming year. No action was taken. Representatives of the Idaho Power Co. appeared before the Board with three pro- posals for increasing the efficiency of the street lighting system of the Village The cost of roposal #1 would be $179.75, No 2 $ 197.00 acid no 3 $210.00. Motion by Forest Goodrich seconded by Henry Hoff that the Village accept plan number one without any additional lamps and the additional lamps would be conctd- ered in the spring prior to the new budget. Carried. Att Roberts made a report on the construction of the streets in the new sub -divi- sion. The culverts have been installed and most of the graveling done. Motion Ca rried. The matter of demanding a signal block or some other method of control by the Union Pacific at the intersection of the railroad and highway 15 in the Village of McCall was discussed by the Board. Following said discussion the Village attorney was instructed to draft an ordnance to c ontrol a aid Exdx cross ing by requ-ring all trains to come to a stop and sending out a flagman before making such crossing. The reeodification of the old Village ordnances was presented to the Board for study and approval. This matter was to come up before the next regular meeting. No further business coming before the Board the meeting was adjourned at 10:00 PM ATTEST, - Clerk
