A RESOLUTION SETTING THE CONSTRUCTION SITE RUNOFF PERMIT FEES AS
PART OF THE APPROVAL PROCESS FOR A STORM WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN
Whereas, Chapter 161 of the Tiffin Municipal Code is the City's Post -Construction Storm
Water Runoff Control ordinance; and,
Whereas, Section 161.17, Fees, subsection 1 states, `prior to the approval of the storm
water management plan, the applicant must submit an application fee as adopted by
resolution of the City Council'; and,
Whereas, the City of Tiffin now has an employee (Construction Inspector I) who has
obtained an Erosion Control Inspector Certification who can now review and inspect a
storm water management plan,
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
and adopt a $150.00 application fee for a submitted construction site runoff permit.
On the 5th day of March, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Orris introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2024-017, A RESOLUTION
SETTING THE CONSTRUCTION SITE RUNOFF PERMIT FEES AS PART OF THE
APPROVAL PROCESS FOR A STORM WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN and made a
motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Schnedler.
Ayes: Olney, Orris, Schnedler, Limkemann, Havens.
Nays: None.
Absent: None.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Kasparek
declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2024-017, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE
CONSTRUCTION SITE RUNOFF PERMIT FEES AS PART OF THE APPROVAL
PROCESS FOR A STORM WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN to be adopted and signified
his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 5th day of March, 2024.
