HomeMy Public PortalAbout1950.09.11 Council MinutesSept. 11, 1950 n regular meeting of the Board of Dir--ctors of the Village of McCall was held on the above date and the following business transacted: Roll Call: Art Roberts Sterling Clark Forest Goodrich Robert McBride The meeting was called to order by Chairman Art Roberts: Mr. Lyon, of the music department of School behalf of the School. Mr. Lyon stated that classes to be from 2:00 to 3:00 on Mondays, to meet at 11:20 on the same days, however, meet. Dist. #421, appeared before the Board on thay wished to start an elementary band, Wednesday's and Friday's and a dbral group they were in need of a place for them to Motion by Forest Goodrich seconded by Bob McBride; that the band and chorus use the front room of the City Hall for a meeting place. Carried. Geo. South discussed opening streets in the Geelan Addition. The Board instructed Mr. South and Mr. Ben Martin to work on this project. Motion by Forett Goodrich seconded by Sterling Clark; that the Village accept the airport agreement relative to the transfer of tax moneys from the County to the Village. Carried. The Board discussed the sewer contract which was presented to the Board. Motion. by Forest Goodrich seconded by Bob McBride; that the Board sign the contract covering surer wwwwimatimm line to be constructed by the Utility Construction Co. Carried. Proposed ordinance' #160 being the appropriation for the fiscal year ending April 30, 1951 was brought before the Board. Motion by Forest Go^drich seconded by Sterling Clark; that the rules be suspended and Proposed Ordinance #160 be passed. Carried. Ordinance #160 was read twice by title and once 2W Length and put upon it's final passage. The vote on Ordinance ##160 was unanimous. Forest Geodrich seconded by Sterling Clark; that Ordinance #161 be passed suspensiao of the rules.
