A regular meeting of the Boad of Directors of the Village of McCall_ was held
on the above date and the following business transacted:

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Art Roberts.
The asx minutes of the meetings of Oct2 and Oct.23,1950 were read
a nd approved.
Roy May appeared before the Board and requested that the Davis Building on
Main Street be condemned due to the fire hazard that it presents. Motion
by Kerby, second by Goodrich that a. letter be written to Gus Davis concern—
ing the building stating that no permit to repair would be granted; the:
Board considers this firc::e hazard should be removed before Winter sets in
and would like an immediate answer. Motion carried.
The matter of civilian defense was brought to the attention of the Board by
the Chairman. This came as adirective from the Governor. This entails autok
an unpaid Director who vould have some expense in the way of travel,this
might be underwritten by the Board. Wyman Zachary has been contacted and it
is believed that he will accept the job on an expense basis. Goodrich
suggested that Zachary be again contacted and if he will accept, that he be xrrmixt
appointed. Mr. Roberts will contact Mr. Zachary.
Motion by Goodrich, seconded by Clark that Wyman Zachary be appointed
provided he will accept. Motion carried.

Motion by Goodrich,seconded by Kerby that bills be _aid as read. Carried.
The streets in the Gehlan Addition and those in the 1!alony property were
discussed. Those in the Gelhan Addition are 60 ft. wide. In the Malony
nronerty 40 ft. has been proposed by Mr. Malony, this is not in accordance
with the wishes of the Board.
Motion by Goodrich, seconded by Clark that Fred Kerby be made Chairman of
a Committee to work with p ckaret to contact Mr.Malony and see what is the
best thing to be done in this matter. Carried.
Motion to adjourr oa.rried and the Board adjourned, at 9:44 PM on above date.
