HomeMy Public PortalAbout1950.12.04 Council MinutesDecember. 4,1950 A regular meeting of the Roa,rd of Directors of the Village of McCall was held on the above date and the following business transacted: Roll Call: Rob '.McBride Forrest Goodrich Fred Kerby Sterling Clark In the absence of Chairman Art Rotterts, motion was :made by Goodrich, second by Clark that Fred 'arby act as Chairman pro tam . Carried. The minutes of the meeting of movember 6,1950 read and approved. Sterling Clark was a;orointed Chairman or arommittee to be assisted by Bus Johnson to inspect all inottnerators and other methods of trash burning in the business section and to correct any hazard that might exist. The matter of ice falling off the Lake View Motel on the roof of Curleys Club and thence on to the sidewalk was discussed. Lenord A.ckaret was in- structed to look into the matter and take the necessary action to eliminate this hazard. Motion by Goodrich, second by Clark that 7yman Zachary be allowed per diem expense plus loss of time to go to the Civilian Defense meeting in Boise. Motion carried. Motion by Clark, second by Goodrich that the Baptist Church be allowed to hold their dinner in the Village Hall on Dec.12th. Carried. Forrest Goodrich kbas a.o-oointed Chairman, along with Len Pckaret as a Committee to investigate and report on the Ralph Paris building which was offered for sale or lease to the Village. The sale price to be ti12,000.00 payable at $1.25.00 per month with interest at 4%.
