Al. so in attendance at. t~is meeting: John r.,. ~oefman and .qam Barton, =~n~ro.' ~ from Boise and Fred Fentor of the firm of Childs and Feuton~fisca! ~ents, Boize~Tdaho. ^ discussion was held in connection ~-ith the prorosed ~'ater revenue bonds.in which Y.r.Fonton informed t'oe Board a~ to the duties of a fiscal aTent on bond issue,and as to ¥~bat the firm would definate]? do if emp]oTred as fiscal agents in the proposed !?cCall water revenue ~. Noffman and "~r~ ~ Bartor ~nfo-mr. ad. the Board as to the Er.~inee~._ 'f~tties ema. . pre~imina~r mzrvey work o~ the proposed water mains. Theyv further f nformed the ~oard ±.~st it ?as ve~r mossib!e to use considerable of ey~sting water main trenches,but that all extension work ,"ould have to be done in the field and commence with surveys. Mr. Hoff~n estimated that a ~.i00,0:~.0.00 bond issue would result in Engineering fees of approximately A5500.OO,and that a ~200,000.00 bond issue would result in Engineerin6 fees of approximately f'7000.O0 and that an?thing in between would be on a pro-rata basis. !~. Fen%om stated that the Board could emp].o~r his firm as fiscal a?ents and cai! an election as soon as nossible. If the election did not car~/, his firmwou!d omi3 char.~e their actual cash ex~enditures for their se:-~ices and estimated this to be about $100.00. r~r. Hoffman suggested that he and Barton come to ~cCall the morning of July 9th and spend about three days ~th the Water master,Leonard Ackaret and go over the entire eu~ineerinM factor for the ~roose of making estimate~ as to the cost of the overall Droject. For this service he uou!d charge f!ES.O0 a day plus his expenses,and if the ~oard ~ent ahead with tb~ ~ou d election and the election carried and his firm was emm!oyed as Engineers,then there ~ould be no c~ar~e for this prelimina~ estimate. Motion made bM Armstrong, second by ~,~oore that Hoffman and Barton come to ?~cCa!l the ..... mo~ ce_ Ju!v~ 9th, go over the ~ro~osed. ~ ~roject '~vith ~.~. Ackaret and make preliminary e,~timates of the over all cost;and also that ~ffr.Fenton prepare and submit to the Board the memors.nd~m of his fi~s contract as finical a?ents, an~ that the re~ort of Hoffman and B,~rto~ ~n~ t~a memorandu~ co~+,ract of ~ud we~ton be submitted at ,~ ~vecial ~ee+,iu~ ~]~ ~r this purpose.
