Armstrong ,moved that the ordinance on coin operated amusement devices
be amended to require a ;71(3 annual premice tax. The motion died
for lack of a second.
Spielman moved to amend the ordinance on coin ocerated amusement
devices to require a `: 25 annual license fee. The motion died for
lack of a second.
Armstrong moved to repeal Ordinance 2-302 providing for a 100
annual premice license . The motion died for lack of a second.
Spielman introduced and moved the adoption of Ordinance 177
which amended Ordinance 2-302 providing for a ; 20 annual premise
license. Armstrong moved to suspend the rules for the passage of
proposed ordinance No. 177 to amend Section 2-302. The motion
,vas seconded by Spielman and carried unanimously.
The proposed ordinance was read twice by title and once at length
and nut upon its final passage .
Armstrong moved to second the motion for pasaage of Ordinance 177.

The motion Baas declared passed two to one.
The Jurisdiction of the Justices of the Peace were discussed and
Remaklus informed the Board at the next meeting he would inform
the furthur.
The meeting was recessed until the call of the chair.

Roberts reviewel the status of the Airport and informed the Board
of the hearing.
The Gravel contract with Nelson and Jeppe was discussed and the
Clerk was instructed to find the status of the assignment which
the Village sent to the Continental State Bank. If possible to
get a release on the assignment it should be obtained.
Following discussion, Armstrong moved to nay for what gravel we
have used to date if a release of the assignment can be obtained
and if a release cannot be obtained, the Village be in a position
to pay the full amount on the due date of the assignment, The
motion was seconded by Kerby and carried unanimously.
Ackaret informed the Board of a trip he had make to Meridian to
look at a new method of oiling streets and presented the cost
figured to the Board. After discussion on the Various costs and
types of oiling and the financial position of the Village, Armstrong
moved to pave the three blocks on the main street starting Monday
July 20th, 'nelson and Deppe be settled on a basis of gravel used to
date and the work on the golf course road be postponed. The motion
was seconded by Spielman and carried unanimously. Roberts urged that
the road eo the golf course be strictly maintained in face of the use
it will receive over the golf tournament.
No furthur business, the meeting was adjourned t 2:45 P.

g;r. Hale of the Mountain States Construction Co. was ores :nt to
complete the payment and rebus . of the Village va er construction
project. Moore moved that the 2000 holi-back on the water system, less
adjustment be nail to the Mountain States Const . Co. The
motion was seconded by Spiel.nan and carriel unanimously.
A netit.i_on was presented to t'i oar requesting the sprinkling of
Mather head due to the he .e.v dust. The uar: considered the

Moore moved to refund the ;;i20 premise license to the Lake Club as
a '�100 license fee had already been said for the current year. The
motion was seconded by Spielman carried unanimously.
In regard to the jurisdiction of the two Justices of the Peace,
Remaklus suggested that the P•oard designate onefor the nirnose
of Police magistrate for the Village . Spielman moved that the
hoard designate Leonard Ackaret as Police Magistrate . The motion
was seconded by Moore and carried unanimously.
Remaklus informed the hoard that he would have definite information
of the problem of county taxes on the building of Ralph Paris ' s
which the Villa e is using.
In regard to the gravel that was cr?shed for the Village by Nelson '.c
Depne; Spielman moved to oay for malt of the stock pile of gravel
or for that oortion that we nave used which is anproxinately
3030 tons at . 75V oer ton er - 2250. The Notion was seconded �y
Moore and carried unanimously.
Armstrong moved to c-iar•ge the palm re :der which is in the old
O .K . Rubber building, to per day. The motion was seconded by
Spielman and carried unanimously.

Armstrong moved to instruct the Clerk to write to Orvill`-e rro _k_s
anci request .146 or a claim would be lade on his bond, in regard to
the forgery of Mitchell. J"hnson which was paid out of Vilicue funds
in 1951. The notion was seconded by Spielman and carried unanimously. —
The conilti_on of the si ie.valk of Mrs . Halley which is in need of
repair and the enforcement of the ordinance on the K:i:mnery
sewer was discussed.
