Aril 5, 1954---McCall, Idaho
A regular meeting of the Village board was held on the above date
and the following business transacted. All members were preent.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read.
A letter from the municipal league on vacation oay and sick leave
benefits was read to the Board.
Mr. George narwood wa present for the Dur )ose of bidding on the
Village insurance . Kerby was appointed to work with him on the
insurance .
Roberts stated that the South land was due for sale May 3, 1954.
Appraisers had set the value at i390 per acre . As the land is
necessary to the Village for the airport it will be necessary to
bid on the property. Discussion. Spielman moved to bid the
appraised value of the land if a bid is necessary to acquire the
land. The motion was seconded by Armstrong. Discussion. In` f avor
,T, of the motion was Roberts, Armstrong, Spielman, Moore with Kerby
1^ abstaining.
Remaklus reported that the State would be unable to assist with any
new construction at the present and would not be able to do so in
the future . In regard to parallel parking. The Village is to write
a letter requesting diagonal parking and stating the reasons for so
wanting. Discussion. Following discussion, the clerk was to write
the Denartnent of Highways requesting diagonal parking and the reasons
for such.
A discussion on the budget followed. Various facts and figures were
presented bj Roberts .
A discussion on th:; golf course and the shortage of funds followed.
Moore brought up the question of Curley' s Club changing hands and
operating under the old licence . Moore was instructed to contact
the parties involved and see if there was a change of ownership.
Moore :roved to authorize the vacation pay of Mike Gentile . The
motion was seconded by Armstrong and carried unanimously.
The several bills were read for payaent.

carried unanimously.
No further business Armstrong move i to adjourn at 11 : 1 P. M.
