GREENCASTLE COMMON COUNCIL
SPECIAL SESSION
THURSDAY, JUNE 27, 2002 6:00 P.M. CITY HALL
The Greencastle Common Council met in Special Session Thursday, June 27, 2002, 6:00 p.m. at
City Hall. Mayor Michael called the meeting to Order at 6:10 p.m. On the Roll Call, the
following were found to be present: Councilor Hammer, Councilor Sedlack, Councilor Liechty,
and Councilor Rokicki. Councilor Roach was absent.
Resolution 2002 -32, A Resolution Authorizing Additional Appropriation, was read by Mayor
Michael. After some discussion Councilor Rokicki made the motion to approve, seconded by
Councilor Sedlack. Vote was unanimous. Councilor Hammer told CT Jones that ICE students
are exempt from unemployment taxes.
® Cemetery Superintendent Randy Robinson was present to request using ICE Student monies in
his budget for additional part-time help. Superintendent Robinson stated there has not been an
ICE placement and he needs summer help. Motion to approve made by Councilor Hammer,
seconded by Councilor Rokicki. Vote was unanimous.
Walt Prosser was present requesting the curb in front of the Armory be painted yellow. There are
no parking signs, but curb is not painted. Mr. Prosser was assured this curb will be painted when
the summer painting is done.
Motion to adjourn made by Councilor Hammer, seconded by Councilor Rokicki. Vote was
unanimous.
