Insufficient clearance of panel — wall built 30" behind it. 2.) Need to replace the service entrance feed — current feed melted due to excessive arching. 3.) 6 circuits are doubled up with 1 not grounded. 4.) Panel box not sufficiently grounded. 5.) Wiring to the HVAC needs to be copper or in conduit. 6.) Meter to building possibly not properly grounded. 7.) Panel needs breaker blanks. 8.) 100 amp service needs to be 300 amp service to meet current and future needs. These were issues that could be identified in a 45 minute inspection. Mr. Russell will be back next week to do a further /more complete inspection and give a cost estimate on fixing these issues. Until the time that these violations can be addressed I would not recommend any lease agreements. Mr. Horde noted an issue with the electrical panel that concerned him greatly which make the building fail inspection. I can not say that this situation is due to Mr. Lee's work, or if Mr. Lee missed it when he inspected it last week, etc. I just know that there is a problem today that needs to be addressed immediately. Joe has contacted a different state licensed electrician to address this situation immediately due to the potential safety /fire issue. Currently, the building has failed the inspection, but the staff's goal is to bring it to back to code by today if possible with the electrician we are bringing in. I am forwarding the report to the TAA, so they have it before the meeting tonight. THIS BUILDING WAS FORMERLY THE OLD FIRE HOUSE AND TEEN CENTER. I DID A THOROUGH INSPECTION OF THE ENTIRE BUILDING - BOTH SIDES. INCLUDING THE ATTIC ABOVE THE THEATRE SIDE. THE ONLY THINGS THAT I FOUND WRONG WERE : 1. THREE BREAKERS IN THE MAIN BREAKER BOX WITH TWO WIRES UNDER EACH LUG INSTEAD OF ONE. I HAVE CORRECTED THE PROBLEM. 2. TWO SINGLE POLE BREAKERS INSTEAD OF ONE BEING USED ON THE 220 VOLT A/C CIRCUIT. - CORRECTED 3. OLD WIRE IN ATTIC THAT WAS NOT IN USE OR CONNECTED TO ANYTHING.
