Hart Commissioner J. Phil Hoyle Commissioner William S. LaPorte Also attending: Richard F. Ward. Mayor Koch called the meeting to order and announced that the purpose of the meeting was to canvass the March 4, 1969 election returns. Mr. Iglehart moved that the seal on the ballot box be broken, the ballot box be opened and the certified results of the election be read and accepted. Mr. Hart seconded the motion. Motion passed. The Town Clerk reported that there were 115 registered voters on the rolls, that 150 ballots were printed and that 54 ballots were cast. The certified results were read as follows: John G. Hart 43 votes William S. LaPorte 40 votes J. Phil Hoyle 44 votes Henry Pope 1 vote Stewart B. Iglehart 41 votes William Mayer 1 vote William F. Koch, Jr. 51 votes It was thereupon determined by the Canvassing Board that the following were duly elected to serve as Commissioners for three years beginning March 18, 1969: William F. Koch, Jr.; J. Phil Hoyle; John G. Hart; Stewart B. Iglehart and William S. LaPorte. There being no further business to come before the Commission, the meeting was adjourned. V ATTEST: ` t AFFIDAVIT OF CLERK AND INSPECTORS OF THE GENERAL ELECTION TO BE HELD MARCH 4, 1969 STATE OF FLORIDA COUNTY OF PALM BEACH TOWN OF GULF STREAM Before me, an officer capable of administering oaths, personally appeared: Charles Turner and Florence Cramp, Inspectors and Dorotha Bauer, Clerk, who, after being duly sworn, depose and say, each for himself, that they will perform the duties of Clerk and Inspectors at the General Election to be held in and for the Town of Gulf Stream, Palm Beach County, Florida on the 4th day of March, 1969, and that said duties will be performed according to law, and that they will endeavor to prevent fraud, deceit and abuse in conducting the same.
