A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING
INDUSTRY WAY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT NUMBER 4011.67.893 AS
BEING COMPLETE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO PROCESS THE
RECORDATION OF THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, on April 6, 2011, the City Council of the City of Lynwood awarded
the Industry Way Improvement Project contract to Elite Companies US, Inc. in the
amount of $55,238; and
WHEREAS, the project started on June 25, 2011 and was completed on July
25, 2011; and
WHEREAS, the project is funded with the California State Assembly Bill (AB)
2928 funds; and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost is $63,622; and
WHEREAS, Public Works staff conducted the final inspection on July 25, 2011
and found that all work is complete in accordance with the project plans and
specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts the Industry
Way Improvement Project, Project No. 4011.67.893 as complete in accordance with
contract documents; and authorizes the City Engineer to process the recordation of the
Notice of Completion.
Section 2. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6 day of September, 2011.
