Work Session - Call to Order 5:45 PM
A. Roll Call
The City of Tiffin City Council held a work session Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at the City Hall Council
Chamber. Mayor Kasparek present via Microsoft Teams called the meeting to order at 5:49 PM. Upon roll
being called the following members were present: Al Havens, Chris Olney, Eric Schnedler, Skylar
Limkemann arrived at 5:50 PM, Tim Orris. Others present City Administrator Doug Boldt and City Clerk
Abigail Hora.
B. Agenda Additions/Agenda Approval
Motion to approve agenda by Schnedler.
Second by Orris.
All ayes, agenda approved.
C. Discussion and Review of City Logo Redesign and Motto
Discussion: Katie Rierson and Lexi Gillian gave an update on the City logo redesign and motto.
D. Discussion and Update on FY 2024-2025 Budget
Discussion: City Administrator Doug Boldt reviewed the budget with Council. No changes have been
made since last meeting.
E. Discussion and Review of Draft Job Description for Library Director
Discussion: City Administrator Doug Boldt reviewed the draft of the Library Director with Council. No
changes were made, and this will be formally approved at the next regularly scheduled meeting.
F. Questions from Council Members regarding items on the Regular City Council Agenda or Reports

Limkemann left at 7:46 PM, Tim Orris. Others present City Administrator Doug Boldt and City Clerk

2. City Council Reports Discussion: Council Person Olney attended Senior Coffee Hour. Council
Person Schnedler attended a kickoff meeting with Retail Strategies. He stated that we should have
more information in later meetings.

have been issued so far this year.
