Mayor Vandernail called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
1. RolIcall: Mayor Philip Vandernail; Mayor Pro-Tem Eileen Waldow; Trustees; Andy
Miller, Brian Cerkvenik, Katie Soles, Parnell Quinn and Ryan Barwick
2. Elected Officials Oath of Office:
Mayor Philip Vandernail took the oath of office during the virtual meeting. Trustees Brian
Cerkvenik, Eileen Waldow and Parnell Quinn took the oath with the staff earlier in the
day due to social distancing.
3. Approval of Agenda:
Trustee Waldow moved, and Trustee Barwick seconded the motion to approve the
agenda. Motion carried: 7-0.
4. In Memory of Connie Clayton:
The Board and Staff honored Connie Clayton.
5. Consent Agenda:
a) Minutes April 1, 2020
b) Resolution 2020-04-06 Sanitary Sewer and Maintenance Repair
Trustee Waldow moved, and Trustee Barwick seconded the motion to approve the
consent agenda to include the Minutes of April 1, 2020 and Resolution 2020-04-06
Sanitary Sewer and Maintenance Repair. Motion carried: 7-0.
6. Discussion and Possible Action Regarding:
a) Resolution 2020-04-03 Municipal Appointments
Trustee Waldow moved, and Trustee Soles seconded the motion to approve
Resolution 2020-04-03 Municipal Appointments, appointing Antoinette McVeigh as
Town Clerk, Rod McGowan as Town Attorney, Beth Williams as Town Treasurer,

Ronald W Carlson as Municipal Judge and Thad Renaud as Alternate Municipal Judge.
Motion carried: 7-0.
b) Resolution 2020-04-04 Mayor Pro-Tern
Trustee Soles moved, and Trustee Barwick seconded the motion to approve Resolution
2020-04-04 Mayor Pro-Tern, appointing Eileen Waldow as the Mayor Pro-Tem. Motion
carried: 7-0.
c) Resolution 2020-04-05 Building Code Board of Appeals
Trustee Waldow moved, and Trustee Barwick seconded the motion to approve
Resolution 2020-04-05 Building Code Board of Appeals. Motion carried: 7-0.
d) Committee Appointments
No action was taken. This will be on a future agenda.
e) Elected and Appointed Officials Waived Compensation
Trustee Barwick moved, and Trustee Soles seconded the motion per Ordinance 467 to
approve the waived compensation from 2018 through April 2020 be contributed to the
Grand Foundation to go to the Mountain Family Center in the amount of$5525. Motion
carried: 7-0.
6. Open Forum:
a) Business not on the agenda
7. Updates:
Soles-April 22, 2020 is the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day. The Board will have a free
day at The Drop to celebrate.
8. Adjourn:
Trustee Soles moved, and Trustee Waldow seconded the motion to adjourn. Motion
carried: 7-0. Meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
