Mayor Vandernail called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

2. Approval of Agenda:
Trustee Soles moved, and Trustee Waldow seconded the motion to approve the
amended agenda to move Resolution 2020-05-01 Final Acceptance Of Leland Creek
Bridge to the first discussion item. Motion carried:7- 0.
3. Proclamation Public Works Week May 14-23
Mayor Vandernail thanked all of the public works folks
4. Consent Agenda:
a) Minutes April 15, 2020
Trustee Quinn moved, and Trustee Barwick seconded the motion to approve the
consent agenda. Motion carried: 7-0.
5. Discussion and Possible Action Regarding:
a) Resolution 2020-05-01 Final Acceptance Of Leland Creek Bridge
Trustee Miller moved, and Trustee Waldow seconded the motion to approve Resolution
2020-05-01 Final Acceptance Of Leland Creek Bridge Motion carried: 7-0.
b) 2020 Asphalt Projects
Trustee Soles moved, and Trustee Miller seconded the motion to approve Resolution
2020-05-02 Roadway Resurfacing Project IGA With Grand County. Motion carried: 7-0.
b) Sponsorship For Fraser Canine Cabins

Staff has applied for a grant for the sponsorship fees with the Grand County Tourism
Board. The Board will wait for any sponsorship decisions until notification of approval or
denial of the grant. Staff will inquire with Sky Hi News to find out what the deadline is for
approval of the Town of Fraser sponsorship.
c) Committee Appointments
Trustee Miller moved, and Trustee Waldow seconded the motion to approve Resolution
2020-05-04 Economic Development Advisory Committee Appointment, appointing Toni
Halgren, Rochelle Gould, Barry Young, Deborah Buhayer, Craig Clark, Philp Vandernail
and Brian Nichols. Motion carried: 7-0.
Trustee Soles moved, and Trustee Barwick seconded the motion to approve Resolution
2020-05-05 Public Arts Committee Appointment, appointing Eric Vandernail, Debbe
Knutson, Ernie Roybal, Krista Klancke, Callie McDermott, Lisa Baird, and Steve
Fitzgerald. Motion carried: 7-0.
Trustee Miller moved, and Trustee Soles seconded the motion to approve Resolution
2020-05-06 WWC Appointment, appointing Ron Anderson, Bob Wolf, Dennis Soles,
Eileen Waldow, Philip Vandernail, Parnell Quinn and Brian Cerkvenik. Motion carried:
7-0.
d) Fraser Valley Arts Board Of Directors Appointment
Trustee Miller moved, and Trustee Soles seconded the motion to approve Steven
Fiztgerald, CallieMcDermott and Deb Culig Motion carried: 7-0.
6. Open Forum:
Trustee Quinn moved, and Trustee Cerkvenik seconded the motion write a letter to the
County Commissioners demanding we open the towns, restaurants, second homes and
gain our rental capacity, which the Mayor will sign, Motion carries 6-1, Nay Waldow she
doesn't like the term "demand" but likes the letter.
Fraser Business have received $120,000 from the business assistance fund.
Trustee Quinn moved, and Trustee Barwick seconded the motion to request that the
Governer reviews our petition and opens Grand County. Motion Carries 7-0.

carried: 7-0. Meeting adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
