A Resolution establishing an awards fund for the Riverdale Fire
Department.
WHEREAS, the City of Riverdale wishes to establish a separate fund for
the purpose building an awards fund for the volunteer fire department;
WHEREAS, an account will be established to accumulate funds toward this
goal;
WHEREAS, an annuity will be purchased for each qualified fireman at the
age of 65;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council directs that
an account be established and monies transferred from the general fund to an
.Awards Fund that will be carved forth and accounted for separate from the
general fund.
Passed and approved this nth day of October, 2003 by the following
