Orleans Cultural District
July 8, 2019

The meeting was called to order at 9 am by Joanna Keeley. In attendance were Joanna Keeley, Gail
Gibson, Meri Hartford, Clare O'Connor,Peter Brown, Bonny Campbell-Runyon, Pam Feltus.
Minutes from June 19, 2019—unanimously approved
Meeting was spent in preparation for a presentation to the Planning Board meeting on July 9.
Joanna and Meri will make presentations of printed materials including our goals, accomplishments,
key issues and specific goals for the Rt A corridor. Meri will present Orleans Cultural
District recommendations for site locations of Cultural District Signage and Banners.
Other business:
Friends gift cert to cover remaining MCC grant funds to be distributed before the deadline.
$750 from the Orleans Cultural Council was deposited in the OCD gift account as a matching grant for
the seasonal sculpture.
In September,we will discuss the plan for the new Michael Magyar sculpture.
Plan to sell products at the August Block Party—Pam Feltus organizing
