A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FEES FOR RECREATION FACILITIES.
Whereas, the Moab City Council deems it necessary to amend and adopt fee schedules for various
recreation facilities;
NOW THEREFORE, WE, THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF MOAB DO HEREBY
ADOPT A FEE SCHEDULE FOR VARIOUS RECREATION FACILITIES AS FOLLOWS:
1. Center Street Gym
Private Use by Residents of Grand County (non-commercial) $10/hr
Private Use by Non -Grand County Residents (non-commercial) $25/Itr
Commercial Use $45/hr
2. Center Street Band Room
Private Use by Residents of Grand County (non-commercial) $5/hr
Private Use by Non -Grand County Residents (non-commercial) $ ] 0/hr
Commercial Use $15/Irr
3. Center Street Ball Park (includes use of entire Park)
Non-profit/Residential Use (no admission fee) $50/day
Non-profit/Residential Use (with admission fee) $75/day
Commercial Use (no admission fee)
$150/day
Commercial Use (with admission fee) $250/day
4. Tournament rates shall be negotiated between the Recreation Coordinator and the Tournament
Organizer. All tournaments shall pay a refundable cleaning/security deposit prior to the beginning of
the tournament.
5. Moab Arts And Recreation Center Alcohol Events License $15/hr
plus cleaning deposit and normal rental fees
6. Refundable Cleaning/Damage Deposit (sliding rate refund based on damage) $150/event
7. Damage deposits may be assessed for high -impact use at the discretion of the Recreation Coordinator.
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by action of the Governing Body of Moab City in open session this
23`d day of February, 1999.
