COUNCIL MINUTES
SPECIAL MEETING OCTOBER 13, 1999
The Special Meeting of the Bal Harbour Village Council was held on
October 13, 1999, in the Village Manager's Office at Bal Harbour
Village Hall. The meeting was called to order at 4:30 p.m. by
Mayor Hirschl. Those present were:
Mayor Andrew R. Hirschl
Assistant Mayor Daniel S. Tantleff
Councilman James E. Boggess
Councilman Peg E. Gorson
Also Present: Alfred J. Treppeda, Village Manager
Jeanette Horton, Village Clerk
Stephen Helfman, Village Attorney
Absent: Councilman Seymour Roth
As a quorum was determined to be present, the meeting commenced.
DISCUSSION OF SCHEDULING AN EXECUTIVE SESSION:
Mr. Helfman explained the reason for the meeting is to request an
executive session. The issue to be addressed is the cost,
settlement etc of the lawsuit of Rudolph vs Bal Harbour Village.
A motion was offered by Assistant Mayor Tantleff and seconded by
Councilman Boggess to schedule an executive session for Monday,
October 18, 1999, at 12 noon. The motion carried unanimously with
the vote as follows: Mayor Hirschl aye; Assistant Mayor Tantleff
aye; Councilman Boggess aye; Councilman Gorson aye; Councilman Roth
absent.
Adiourn:
There being no further business to come before the Council, a
motion was offered by Councilman Boggess and seconded by Councilman
Gorson to adiourn. The motion carried unanimously (4-0), with
Councilman Roth absent, and the meeting adjourned at 4:35 p.m.
