A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF APRIL 16, 2024, FOR A PUBLIC
HEARING FOR THE FY 2024-2025 BUDGET
Whereas, The City Council will set a date for Public Hearing for the FY 2024-2025
Budget for the City of Tiffin, Iowa, and;
Whereas, The City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that it is required by law to
hold a Public Hearing for the proposed budget prior to approval of the budget;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the
Public Hearing for April 16, 2024.
On the 2nd day of April, 2024, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Orris introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2024-020, A RESOLUTION
SETTING THE DATE OF APRIL 16, 2024, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE FY
2024-2025 BUDGET and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by
Councilperson Olney.
Ayes: Havens, Orris, Olney, Schnedler, Limkemann.
Nays: None.
Absent: None.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor
Kasparek declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2024-020, A RESOLUTION SETTING
THE DATE OF APRIL 16, 2024, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE FY 2024-2025
BUDGET to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature
thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 2nd day of April, 2024.
