HomeMy Public PortalAbout079-2004 - Grant - IN Youth Institute - Park ORDINANCE NO. 79-2004 AN AMENDED APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL, ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM THE INDIANA YOUTH INSTITUTE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT GRANT PROGRAM WHEREAS, The Indiana Youth Institute Professional Development Grant Program has grant funding available; and WHEREAS, the City of Richmond Parks & Recreation Department desires to submit a grant application to obtain funds that will be used to send a staff person to the 2004 National Association for Interpretation Workshop in Grand Rapids, Michigan; and WHEREAS, no local match is required for this grant. NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows: 1. The City of Richmond Parks & Recreation Department is hereby authorized to submit a grant application to the Indiana Youth Institute Professional Development Grant Program. 2. The City of Richmond Parks & Recreation Department is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to Three Hundred Eight Dollars and No Cents ($750.00). 3. Said funds, if awarded to the City of Richmond Parks & Recreation Department, shall be appropriated to send a staff person to the 2004 National Association for Interpretation Workshop in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
