Thursday prior to the next scheduled Council meeting. If this form is received after the deadline,the item will be
listed on the next scheduled agenda.
Council Meeting Date for Request: 1/9/14
Item: To obtain the City Council's approval to amend the FY2014 General Fund Operating Budget for yearend
adjustments by an increase of$18,800.
Explanation: In FY13,Parking Services ordered meter parts for the cumulative amount of$18,800. The company that
the parts were ordered from takes several months to deliver the goods. The goods were not received by June 30,2013;
therefore,the order was cancelled. Parking Services still needs the parts as money was included in the FY2014 budget for
these items. Parking Services is seeking to increase their budget by$18,800 and fund the parts from the prior year fund
balance.
Increase the following expense account:
7564-53-1110 Parking Meters $18,800
Increase the following revenue account:
00-34.5418 Parking Revenue/Pay&Display $18,800
This amendment will increase the general fund budget from$9,140,292 to $9,159,092.
