RESOLUTION APPROVING FIREWORKS FOR CARTERET'S 3". OF
JULY FESTIVAL & ETHNIC DAY
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret believe that having a
fireworks display at the Third of July Festival and the Ethnic Day Festival would be an
enjoyable way to enhance the events and an appropriate symbol of community pride: and
WHEREAS, in order to obtain a permit to display the fireworks at these events it is
necessary for the Borough to adopt a resolution approving said displays.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Appropriate Borough Officials
are hereby authorized to execute the documents that may be necessary to obtain any and
all permits to facilitate "Carteret's Third of July Festival and Carteret Ethnic Day Festival"
fireworks displays.
Adopted this 7 day of June, 2012
and certified as a true copy of the
original on June 9 2012.
