SEWER USER FEE CANCELLATION
WHEREAS, this Resolution has been placed on the agenda by Mayor Daniel J. Reiman
for consideration by the Council; and
WHEREAS, Sewer a/c #5605 -0, Block 5803, Lot 22, also known as 289 Pershing
Avenue, Carteret, New Jersey, is assessed to Star Landing VFW; and
WHEREAS, in consideration of the VFW Organizational service to our local veterans, it
is the desire of the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret to assist our veterans
and their local organizations within our community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, that the Tax Collector change the
status of sewer a/c #5605 -0, Block 5803, Lot 22 to a sewer user fee exempt status
effective 1/1/2012.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this resolution be provided to
the Tax Collector.
